The Birthday Party!

This week we celebrated birthdays all week long! It's a great week for us, with Sarah Grace and Will having birthdays only 2 days apart! Our week of partying culminated in the big birthday party this afternoon. It was a joint party for Will and Sarah Grace at a place called Jumping Jax. It is an old warehouse that has been filled with jump-on games. The kids can run and jump for 2 hours - it is fabulous! This was Will's first "real" birthday party where you invited friends from school, etc. WHAT FUN!

Maggie jumped so hard she fell asleep in the parking lot on the way home. Will wasn't too far behind her, going straight to bed for a nap when we got home.

We invited our friends from church and from school as well as the friends we have grown up with. We had 9 boys and 10 girls - a pretty good mix. Sarah Grace wanted a pink puppy dog cake and Will wanted a "war" cake. Once again Nana came through with exactly what the kids wanted.

These are the pictures from Sarah Grace's new camera - she got a little digital camera for her birthday and she loves it. I will post pictures off of Brian's camera as soon as I get them.

Happy Birthday Will and Sarah Grace!

Happy Birthday Sweetie Girl

Talk about time flies when you are having fun! WOW, Sweetie Girl is now 7. She officially turned 7 last night at the Carolina Game. She never counts it as "official" until she goes past 10:56 p.m. - the time she was born. The Gamecocks scored a touchdown in her honor last night at just that time. She was thrilled. Look at Sweetie Girl then, and now...WOW!

PS - check out SG's new shorts. Her Nana made them for her especially for the Carolina Game - they are awesome...

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Happy Birthday to our Will

Yesterday, the 26th, was Will's 4th birthday! My, time flies when you are having fun! Look at his baby pictures...it seems like yesterday he was the baby. Now Will is in school and even Baby Margaret isn't a baby anymore.

Will got a rocket and some trucks and cars you can put together for his birthday! His Nana Sharon made him a green Army cake. We all had green teeth and lips after eating it.

It was a super fun day. Will and Sarah Grace will have their birthday parties on Sunday. We are really looking forward to that.

Lions, and Alligators and Bears, Oh My!

As most of you know, our Sweet William started K-4 last week. It is his first time at school and he LOVES it! There are 5 boys in his class. His teacher wrote in a note to all the parents "The boys are very well mannered and show great respect for authority. This class is such a joy to teach!" The class has been working on the letter A (Alligator) and B (Bear). I've always said God bless the pre-school teachers - those willing to enter the world of coloring, cutting, glueing and play-doh with 4 year olds!

Here are a few pictures of Will's early artwork. We are so thrilled with his school, his teacher and his class.

The First Day of School

Everyone had a great first week of school. John started 3rd grade, Sarah Grace started 2nd grade, and this year Will started K-4. Now it's just Baby Margaret at home in the mornings. I think she's enjoying the quiet.

Here is a picture of the kids in their Palmetto Christian Academy Uniforms. John's favorite class so far is Latin, believe it or not. Sarah Grace likes reading and Will, I think, likes recess. All of the kids have small classes (5 kids for Sarah Grace and Will and 6 in John's class).

This year Will is playing soccer, John is playing golf and Sarah Grace is doing gymnastics. Hopefully this blog will help keep you updated on what we are doing. Leave us a message when you can!
